Summary
New York General Business Law, § 349 Deceptive Acts and Practices, provides, in pertinent part, that deceptive acts or practices in the conduct of any business, trade, or commerce, or in the furnishing of any service in New York are unlawful and allows any person who has been injured by such acts or practices to bring an action to enjoin them or to recover damages.
