The print publication comprises the revised and updated edition by Anja Tiedemann of the Göpels' 1976 catalogue raisonné (entry in this database). This includes the newly transcribed texts from Beckmann's journals and excerpts from the diary of his wife. Excerpts from the diaries of Max Beckmann were compiled by Mayen Beckmann, and excerpts from the diaries of Mathilde Q. Beckmann were compiled by Nina Peter.
